I have just got a new Cocker Spaniel puppy and she always bites deeply into my arm. I would like to know how i can prevent her from doing this and what other people did with their puppies biting habbits.

Put mustard on your fingers or wherever she is biting

I know you can’t stop puppies from biting, but I need a few tips to train it to bite less.

chew toys. if he tries to bite u, then wave a toy in his face.

I realise puppies have to chew/bite etc to help their teeth develop etc
But sometimes the puppy just gets very excited and wont stop biting.
I can discourage it once it starts, but i’m just wondering how to prevent it from starting?

i either tap my puppy on the head or nose. if you aren’t comfortable with this distract him with something that he is allowed to bite like a toy.

Distract him by giving him other toys or chew bones that he can chew on.
