The governor is considering taxing golfers and pet care to raise money for the state treasury. Now (tongue in cheek) if the smokers had not been made so politically incorrect, maybe the tax coffers would not be so empty. Smokers always paid a lot of taxes on their smokes.
Will California have to give smokers their rights back?

There is certainly a point there. If they hate cigarettes so much, why not just outlaw them? Must be some reason for keeping them around.
