When my puppy got Parvo, I didn’t have anywhere to take him until the morning.

I force-fed him Pedialyte out of a syringe a little bit at a time (he did a good job keeping it down). I was up all night with him and did it every 20 minutes or so. My vet told me that Parvo is something that just has to make its way through the pup’s system and they have to survive through it.

Edit: Don’t take all of this "your puppy WILL die" business to heart. It will only upset you (I did the same thing). My puppy survived just fine and is the greatest dog ever. He’s very strong and healthy.

Also, Parvo has an incubation period and if your pup is just 8 weeks, I’d assume you just got it from the "breeder", which means that the puppy probably caught Parvo at his/her house. This also means the rest of the litter is at risk. Ring her ASAP and let her know!!
